About Home Remedy Center
Our mission
Home Remedy Center helps you feel better at home with low-risk, practical self-care for everyday discomforts (dry cough, sore throat, heartburn, sinus congestion, and more). We focus on clear steps, safety first, and honest evidence so you can act with confidence.
Who we are
We’re the Home Remedy Center Editorial Team—researchers and editors who translate major clinic guidance and scientific reviews into simple, step-by-step tips. We don’t diagnose or prescribe. When a page has clinical oversight, you’ll see “Medically reviewed by …” with the reviewer’s credentials and date.
What we cover (and what we don’t)
- We cover: hydration, humidifiers, steam, saline rinses, honey for cough (adults/older kids), sleep positioning, environmental tweaks, product know-how (e.g., cleaning a humidifier) and information regarding home remedies.
 - We don’t cover: diagnosis, drug dosing, emergencies, individualized treatment plans, or high-risk conditions.

How to use this site
- Read the Summary box for immediate steps.
 - Check Safety first for red flags and contraindications.
 - Skim Evidence at a glance to see what’s likely helpful vs mixed/limited.
 - Follow links to deeper guides and product how-tos.

Experience & transparency
Where feasible, we include “Experience notes” describing simple, replicable setups (e.g., raising bedroom humidity to 40–50%, or preparing a salt gargle). If we haven’t tested something hands-on, we say so and rely on high-quality sources.
